Lucidify is designed with your privacy in mind. All your personal data—including journal entries, dream intentions, audio recordings, and generated images—are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. We do not maintain servers to store, access, or process your personal data.
Currently, Lucidify does not offer internal cloud backup services.
Please note that if you have device-level backups enabled in your operating system (e.g., iCloud or Google Drive), your encrypted data will be subject to Apple's or Google's respective privacy policies.
To provide advanced features like AI dream interpretation and visualization, the app communicates with external Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
When utilizing these features, only the specific text you provide is sent securely to our third-party processing partners for translation and AI analysis (such as Google Gemini).
We do not send voice recordings, generated images, or any unselected data to these external AI services.
Our API providers have strict data policies and generally do not use private API data to train public models.
If you use voice dictation or audio recording features, your voice data is processed solely by your device's native speech recognition services (Apple or Google). This data is subject to the privacy policies of Apple or Google, respectively. We do not transmit your audio data to our own servers.
Lucidify offers in-app purchases and subscriptions. All payment processing is securely handled by the respective app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information or personal financial details.
We respect your digital footprint. We do not use embedded third-party analytics or tracking software to monitor your behavior within the app.
Our application is not specifically designed for, nor directed at, children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions such as the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because all app data remains securely on your local device, we have no access to such information.
We are committed to complying with global privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because your data is stored entirely on your device and not on our servers, you inherently possess complete control over your information.
Right to Access, Export, and Delete: You can view, export, or completely delete all your data directly from the app's settings menu at any time.
Right to Opt-Out: We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes; therefore, there is no need to manually opt-out of data sales.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the application signifies your acceptance of these changes.
